Description
<p>Basically, one distinguishes between Izarra Vert, Izarra Jaune and Izarra 54.</p><p>Izarra was first produced in 1835 by Joseph Grattau. Grattau is also the founder of the distillery.</p><p>The liqueurs are stored in oak barrels and filtered again shortly before bottling.<br><br>The Izarra is also known under the name "the devil in a bottle" or as "green wave".</p><p>Izarra Vert consists of 16 different plants and spices.</p><p>Comparable to the Izarra Jaune, the Izarra Vert is dry and strong in taste.</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><ul><li>Colour: Bright green.</li><li>Nose: fresh, strong aroma, mint, aniseed.</li><li>Taste: Fresh herbs, peppermint, plants, spices.</li><li>Finish: Long lasting.</li></ul>
