This heather imparts a characteristic note of fine, floral smoke to the peat and, therefore, to the whisky, subtly blending with the other aromas without overpowering them.<br><br>This single malt is bottled at cask strength (63.6% ABV) without chill filtration to preserve its full intensity. It is matured in a combination of first-fill and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, as well as selected refill casks, resulting in a harmonious interplay of sweetness, spice, and smoke.
