<p>The Plantations Rums are no longer an insider tip. The excellent rums are mainly collected in the Caribbean and also in South America and then brought to France, where they receive their final touch. In Ars in France, the rum is subsequently stored for several months in small discarded oak cognac barrels. This type of aging is called "double aging", this technique was already used in the 18th and 19th centuries.<br><br>The production of Plantation Rum Trinidad 2008 is made from molasses and a three-day fermentation, at the distillery Trinidad Distillers Limited.<br>In Trinidad, this rum matures for 11 years in bourbon barrels, then matures for another 12 months in ex-Cognac French oak barrels, in the cellars of Château de Bonbonnet/ Cognac.<br><br>The finish this rum receives for 1 year in Chardonnay wine barrels.<br>This very well known white grape variety is spread all over the world, with a high quality potential. Traditionally Chardonnay wines come from Burgundy, they are also produced in other parts of France, in Italy or California Chardonnay tastes harmonious, fresh and mild.</p>
