<p>The Ramos Pinto company was founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto and looks back on a history spanning over 140 years. With an innovative and groundbreaking strategy, the company expanded its business to the Brazilian market and successfully established itself there. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Ramos Pinto brand was exported to South America, which contributed to its worldwide recognition. To this day, Ramos Pinto embodies both innovation and tradition and has established itself as a leader in the port wine sector.<br><br>Ramos Pinto Late Bottled Vintage is a first-class port wine made from a cuvée of local grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. This wine comes from Casa Ramos Pinto in Porto, Portugal, and is produced exclusively from the specified vintage. It matures for 4 to 6 years in oak barrels and is smooth and well developed.<br><br>Traditionally, centuries-old wine presses (lagares) are used in the production process to extract the must in a gentle manner. Ramos Pinto Late Bottled Vintage is bottled unfiltered and sealed with a natural cork, which underlines the high quality of the port wine.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Dark, almost black red in the glass. Intense on the nose with aromas of red fruits, dried fruit and chocolate. Fresh and fruity on the palate, perfectly balanced with notes of dried fruit and chocolate. Long lasting finish.<br><br>Drinking temperature: 12-14 °C</p>
