Ypióca is a traditional Brazilian family business that has been distilling cachaça since 1846 and therefore has a long history and experience in the production of this unique sugar cane spirit. The company is based in the state of Ceará, where it has its own sugar cane plantations, which provide the raw material for its fine distillates. In addition to the plantations, Ypióca also has its own warehouses where the sugar cane spirits mature under optimal conditions.
A particular highlight in their range is the Ypióca 150, a cachaça that was specially developed to celebrate the company's 150th anniversary. It is characterized by the fact that it is matured for a total of six years, with the first three years spent in balsamo wood barrels and the following three years in oak barrels, which gives it an incomparable complexity and deep aroma.
