<p>"Fuerte" stands for strength and expressiveness - qualities that aptly characterize this rum from the Aldea distillery. Distilled from fresh sugar cane juice, the rum matures for up to ten years before being transferred by Tres Hombres into carefully selected former Tawny Port, Olorosso Sherry and Moscatel wine barrels.<br><br>The Fuerte then began a journey of around six months in the cargo hold of the sailing ship, which is characterized by its emission-free operation without an engine. A total of 1298 bottles of this unique rum were bottled, each one a testament to the powerful elegance and depth achieved through the combined ageing process.<br><br>The bottle labels are adorned with motifs of the Tres Hombres and their adventurous journeys. The bottles are sealed with natural corks and sealed with beeswax.<br>This wax is enriched with color pigments ground from natural materials in a traditional windmill in Zaandam, giving the bottles an authentic and environmentally friendly finish.<br><br>Limited to 1298 bottles.</p>
