Description
Deanston Kentucky Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky is matured in hand-selected first & second fill ex-bourbon casks.
Reminiscent of a quick chew of butter toffee, then a slug of American cream soda. Enjoy neat or mixed. Over ice, it may go a little cloudy. Don’t panic, this is due to the soft-filtration process that leaves in flavours, that harsher filtration may remove, leaving it jam-packed with sweet & smooth character. No-age-statement.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
Light gold
NOSE
Honeyed barley, almonds coupled with a soft fruitiness and just a wee bit of crème brûlée.
TASTE
A quick chew of butter toffee, then a slug of American cream soda; balanced with sweet oak and a light cinnamon spice.
FINISH
Palate-pleasing toasted oak spice and sweet barley.
