<p>The first Triple Malt Scotch Whisky worldwide!<br>The name is to be understood as a reminiscence to the traditions: In the old days, distillery workers used to shovel the germinating barley by the ton, hour after hour by hand.<br>From this hard work their shoulders sometimes hurt and their arms hung down low, almost like a chimpanzee.<br>These temporary ailments were called 'monkey shoulders' and this Scotch was named after them.<br><br>Monkey Shoulder is a blend of whisky from Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Kininvie, hence the name 'Triple Malt'.<br>Unlike traditional blends, Monkey Shoulder is 100% malt whisky.<br><br><strong>Awards:</strong><br>Double gold medal in 2016 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition<br>Gold medal in 2016 at the International Spirits Challenge<br>Silver medal in 2016 at the International Spirits Challenge</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>gold.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> sweet, light, fruity, fine spices, hints of leather, vanilla, honey, bananas.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Malty sweetness, vanilla, spices, dried fruit, apples, pears.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, soft, hints of citrus, chocolate.<br><br>This Triple Malt can be enjoyed pure, with ice, mixed or in cocktails.</p>
