<p>Tamnavulin is a whiskey distillery in Scotland that has only existed with this name since the year 2000.<br>Tamnavulin is Gaelic and means something like "mill on the hill" or "mill in the mountains".<br>The distillery was opened in 1966 and closed again in 1995.<br>After a name change and some renovation work, the distillery was allowed to reopen its doors in 2007. Today, typical and characterful Speyside whisky is produced here.<br><br>The Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Whisky matures in American white oak casks and then receives its finish in Sauvignon Blanc white wine casks.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Color: amber.<br>Nose: Green juicy apples, bananas, ripe honeydew melon, peach, lemon, jasmine, vanilla, coconut cream.<br>Taste: Fruity, lime, grapefruit, apple pie, notes of cinnamon, lemon bisque.<br>Finish: Country persistent.</p>
