<p>Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon is&nbsp;the work of&nbsp;Master Distiller Eddie Russell and was introduced in&nbsp;2011.<br>It&nbsp;matures for 6 to&nbsp;8 years in&nbsp;selected oak casks, much longer than any other whiskies in&nbsp;this «weight class».<br>In&nbsp;addition, 81 American oak casks were used for storage, which have the roasting level «No. 4 char»&nbsp;— i.e. alligator.<br>Compared to&nbsp;the Scottish colleagues at&nbsp;Ardbeg, Wild Turkey does not make such a&nbsp;big fuss about this fact.</p><p>So&nbsp;this Wild Turkey is&nbsp;not a&nbsp;lighter offshoot of&nbsp;the 101 like the 80 proof, but a&nbsp;completely new whisky from Austin Nichols.</p><p>Gold Medal and Best in&nbsp;Class Award of&nbsp;the prestigious International Wine &amp; Spirits Competition in&nbsp;London.</p><p>Inviting, complex nose with buttery corn, chocolate, caramel and ginger with some floral notes and vanilla.</p><p>Lightly carbonated with caramel and vanilla.&nbsp;</p><p>Full and deep in&nbsp;the mouth with some sweet notes on&nbsp;the nose, nicely balanced by&nbsp;ripe fruit.</p><p>Pepper and spices fill the finish, creamy over the palate with a&nbsp;long, dry, spice filled finish.</p>
