<p>The Deutz winery was created in Aÿ back in 1838 by&nbsp;two wine merchants named William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, both originating from Aachen in Germany.&nbsp;</p><p>Together they bought land in Champagne and became vintners.&nbsp;</p><p>Mixing&nbsp;technical knowledge, focus on export and a lot of ambition, they managed to create a quality reputation abroad long before the beginning of the 1900s.&nbsp;</p><p>The Deutz vineyards are situated&nbsp;in Aÿ and to some extent also in the notorious "Côte des Blancs".</p><p><strong>Grape Variety:</strong> 90% Chardonnay , 10% Pinot Noir</p><p><strong>Bottle type:</strong> Champenoise</p><p><strong>Permanence in Barrel:</strong> 36 months on the lees</p><p><strong>Capacity (cl):</strong> 75</p><p><strong>Serving:</strong> Taste at a temperature of 9 ºC</p><p><strong>Total acidity (g/l):</strong> 6.1</p><p><strong>Volatile acidity (g/l):</strong> 0.28</p><p><strong>Sugar (g/l):</strong> 9</p><p><strong>PH:</strong> 3.13</p>
