Description
<p>In 1263, the head of the Mackenzie clan saved King Alexander III from an attacking stag.<br>In recognition of this, the king granted the Mackenzie clan the right to bear the emblem of the twelve-pointed royal stag in its coat of arms.<br>When the Dalmore distillery was taken over by the clan’s descendants in 1867, this royal stag became the symbol of Dalmore whisky, which proudly adorns every bottle today.<br>The precious single malts are refined in exceptional casks, which were handpicked by Master Distiller Richard Paterson.</p><p>The Dalmore distillery was founded in 1839 and is located on the Cromarty Firth coast in the northern Highlands.<br>Dalmore uses water from the River Alness, which flows through the small town of the same name.</p><p>The 12-year-old Dalmore was matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks.<br>A very complex single malt with wonderfully combined flavors and excellent value for money.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Strong, fruity, aromatic, spicy, citrus, chocolate.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Lush, malty, sweet, spices, oranges, dark chocolate, vanilla beans.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting.</p>
