<p>The Dalmore distillery was founded in 1839 and is located on the Cromarty Firth coast in the northern Highlands. Dalmore uses the water from the river Alness, which flows through the small town of the same name.<br><br>This Dalmore whisky matures for 10 years in former bourbon casks. Then this whiskey gets up to 3 years a finish in Oloroso and PX casks.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Bright amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Elegant aromas, caramelized oranges, ginger, sultanas, honey.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Light, floral, dark chocolate, almonds, touch of cinnamon.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, sweet mangoes, panna cotta.</p>
