The Guyana people's strong bond with the natural world inspired them to designate the jaguar as their national animal, which in turn led to the creation and naming of the powerful rum known as "Jaguara."

Guyana has a long history of rum production that began in the middle of the 17th century.
Using small batch pot stills and sugar cane molasses, jaguara is distilled in the traditional English manner.
The end product is a 15-year-old, rich, and fragrant rum that has been aged in bourbon barrels.
