<p>Ron Esclavo is&nbsp;a&nbsp;premium rum range from the Dominican Republic.<br>From the cultivation of&nbsp;the sugar cane to&nbsp;the bottling, everything takes place in&nbsp;the Dominican Republic; the distillery behind it&nbsp;is&nbsp;Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos.<br>«Esclavo» is&nbsp;the Spanish word for slave and eponymous for this rum range, which pays homage to&nbsp;all the people who paid a&nbsp;high price in&nbsp;the dark chapter of&nbsp;rum production.</p><p>This rum is&nbsp;aged in&nbsp;American and French oak barrels. The second maturation takes place for another 12 months in&nbsp;ex-Oloroso sherry casks.</p><p><strong>Bottling: </strong>October 2021<br>Limited to&nbsp;955 bottles.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Dark amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Spicy, sweet, ripe fruit, beeswax.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Fruity, balanced, full-bodied, notes of&nbsp;vanilla and coconut.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting.</p>
