Description
<p>The original recipe was invented in 1880 by the Frenchman Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle and is still used today.<br><br>To create this extraordinary liqueur, he experimented with cognac and extracts of Caribbean bitter oranges. The result was the Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge.</p><p>The Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge owes its full aroma not least to the balanced recipe, according to which skins of </p><p>Caribbean bitter oranges are used to refine the liqueur considerably.<br><br>The characteristic bulbous bottle with the engraved seal and red ribbon underlines the high quality and long tradition that is cultivated at Lapostolle.</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><ul><li>Colour: Amber.</li><li>Taste: Aromatic, floral, notes of orange and fruit.</li><li>Finish: Long lasting.</li></ul><p>The Grand Marnier is best enjoyed pure or on ice. It is also suitable as an ingredient for fine desserts and high-quality cocktails.</p>
