<p>The rum undergoes fermentation for 2 to 3 days before being distilled in a column still. After distillation, it is aged for 11 years in bourbon barrels (200 liters) in the country of origin, which gives it its basic structure.&nbsp;</p><p>It is then given a special finish at MAISON FERRAND, which lasts 1 year and 3 months in Ferrand barrels (350 l) to develop additional aromas before maturing for a further 9 months in Kopke Port barrels.</p>
