<p>After fermentation of the Planteray Rum Spain PX Cask takes two days, it is distilled using the column still method. Planteray Rum Spain is then aged for 11 years and 4 months in 200-liter bourbon barrels in the country of origin before being taken to Maison Ferrand in France, where it is given an eight-month finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels.&nbsp;</p><p>This finish adds depth to the rum by adding sweet and rich flavors, rounding out the complex flavor profile.</p>
