<p>The Planteray Rum BLACK CASK Barbados &amp; Trinidad 40% Vol. 0.7 l is a masterfully composed blend that combines the Caribbean rum tradition with French barrel art. It comes from two renowned distilleries: Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and Trinidad Distillers Ltd. in Trinidad.&nbsp;</p><p>High-quality molasses is used as the raw material, which is distilled in a combination of pot still and column still processes after fermentation for three to four days. With a dosage of 19 g/l, the rum is finely rounded without losing any of its authenticity.</p><p>The first maturation takes place for several years in the islands of origin, Barbados and Trinidad, where the rum is stored in 200-liter American white oak barrels.&nbsp;</p><p>It is then shipped to Maison Ferrand in France. There it is given a special finish in small, intensively roasted Ferrand barrels, which give it additional depth and a fine smoky note. This combination of tropical storage and European maturation makes Planteray Black Cask a rum full of character, characterized by complexity and elegance.</p>
