The whiskey first matured in first fill bourbon casks before receiving its elegant finish in Bodegas Barón sherry casks - casks from the Andalusian region of Jerez that previously contained high-quality sherry. This maturation gives the whiskey its special depth, warm sweetness and complex fruity notes. The maritime climate in West Cork ensures even maturation during storage, harmoniously combining the aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and sherry spice. With 43% alcohol by volume, this limited edition is smooth, elegant and full-bodied - a prime example of the modern interpretation of the classic Irish single malt.
