This blend from Barbados and Jamaica is based on classic molasses rum distilled in both pot stills and column stills.&nbsp;</p><p>The basic maturation took place for five years in tropical ex-bourbon barrels, building up structure, depth and balance. The rum was then given a 12 to 18-month finish in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, which was used specifically to round off and refine the rum.<br><br>With a total age of six years, 43% alcohol by volume and no added sugar, this rum is transparent, honest and clearly defined.
