The maturation in bourbon casks is followed by an additional 2-year maturation in Ferrand casks, which gives it additional complexity and fruity depth.
The special feature of this rum is the finish in Kilchoman Peated Whisky Casks for 6 months, which gives it a unique smoky and peaty note that is exceptional for Fiji rums.
