Bottled by Diageo, it impressively demonstrates the maritime character of the Oban distillery, which is geographically located exactly on the border between the Scottish Highlands and the islands. With a maturation period of 12 years in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, a whisky has been created that presents the typical signature of the distillery in a particularly inviting, fruity and spicy form.<br><br>Its character remains true to the fresh and fruity nature of Oban, but gains additional depth through sweet fruits, spicy accents and maritime notes. On the palate, multi-faceted impressions of toffee, sea salt and citrus unfold, harmoniously intertwining and reflecting the distillery's maritime location in terms of taste.
