This special edition has been matured exclusively in high-quality ex-sherry casks, giving it a particularly fruity, deep aroma - without the typical Islay smoke, as Bruichladdich produces unpeated whiskies. Bottled at a strong 50% vol., non-chill-filtered and in a natural color, this edition is aimed at discerning connoisseurs and fans of sherry cask-matured single malts.<br><br>The whisky is made from Scottish barley, distilled in small batches and bottled with the utmost care at the traditional Bruichladdich Distillery on the banks of Loch Indaal.
