<p>Scheiblhofer The Legends 2023 stands for great red wine art from Burgenland and is a tribute to character, depth and elegance. This noble cuvée combines Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in perfect harmony and presents itself as a prime example of international style with Burgenland origins.<br><br>It is matured for 16 months in new French barriques, which not only gives the wine structure and ageability, but also a multi-layered aroma. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., "The Legends" is powerful, velvety and aromatically complex. The interplay of ripe fruit, roasted aromas and soft tannins makes this wine the ideal companion for special moments.<br><br>The deep red color and mature expression underline the high quality of this cuvée. Decanting before drinking is recommended to allow the full aromatic depth to unfold. A wine with ageing potential until 2035 that already offers an impressive experience.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><p>A deep ruby red with ripe edges shines in the glass. On the nose, blackcurrants and caramel combine to create a sophisticated aroma, finely underpinned by a toasty oak flair. On the palate, the wine is multi-layered, dense and harmonious, with a powerful yet soft body, elegant fruit and subtle spice.
