<p>The Tement Sauvignon Blanc Kalk &amp; Kreide 2024 is a precise, mineral and deeply terroir-oriented white wine from the renowned Südsteiermark region, which clearly shows the signature of the Tement estate. As a Südsteiermark DAC regional wine, it embodies the winery's philosophy in its purist form - clear, taut and with an unmistakable origin. The name "Kalk &amp; Kreide" says it all: the grapes come from sites with coral limestone, limestone and loamy limestone marl, which give this Sauvignon Blanc its cool minerality and characteristic aroma.<br><br>The vines are between 16 and 56 years old and therefore produce deeply rooted, concentrated grapes. After natural spontaneous fermentation, the wine is matured on the fine lees, both in stainless steel tanks and in large neutral wooden barrels. This two-track ageing process provides both texture and tension. The wine is sealed with a VinoLok glass cork - another quality feature that underlines its longevity and premium quality. The nose reveals a clear, cool aroma with fresh salted lemon, elderflower, local yellow fruit and fine notes of cassis. On the palate, the wine is mineral, straight as an arrow and taut, with a vibrant acidity that makes you want to take the next sip.
