<p>The Tement Gelber Muskateller Sand &amp; Schiefer 2024 is an expressive, aromatic white wine from southern Styria that impressively demonstrates the interplay of grape variety, soil and the winemaker's signature style. As a classified Südsteiermark DAC regional wine, it is made from grapes that thrive on barren, mineral-rich sites with sand over slate, gravel and stone. This unusual combination of soils gives the wine a clear, cool style and underlines its fragrant elegance.<br><br>The vines are between 6 and 41 years old and produce well-balanced grapes with aromatic depth and vital freshness. After natural spontaneous fermentation, the hand-picked grapes are matured for 6 to 12 months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks, which gives the wine additional fullness, structure and longevity. It is sealed with a VinoLok glass cork, which reliably preserves freshness, quality and ageing potential. The ideal drinking age ranges from 2025 to 2030, during which time the Muscat can perfectly develop its aromatic diversity and mineral clarity.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><p>In the glass, the wine appears a bright, clear yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is extremely intense, with fragrant notes of orange blossom, mandarin, peach and fresh apple. Floral aromas and yellow fruit merge into an inviting bouquet that conveys lightness and depth at the same time. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly light, floating and elegant, almost like purple clouds - with a delicate fruit sweetness, lively acidity and a playful, aromatic length.
