In the P2 version, this champagne presents itself at the peak of its energetic development after 17 years of maturation on the lees - from 2006 to 2023. Dom Pérignon P2 stands for patience, precision and the uncompromising pursuit of perfection that characterizes the essence of this legendary house.<br><br>The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is based exclusively on grapes from Grands Crus vineyards cultivated under sustainable viticulture and with the utmost care. The 2006 vintage was climatically challenging: a scorching hot July, followed by a cool, damp August, before a summery September finally brought the turning point. The harvest began on September 11 and lasted almost three weeks - enough time for the grapes to develop aromatic density and structural depth. In Plénitude 2, this vintage reveals its second dimension - characterized by tension, minerality and a luxurious, almost majestic texture. The champagne has impressive ageing potential until around 2030, gaining further finesse and expression over time - an experience for collectors and lovers of great champagne.&nbsp;</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>On the nose, the bouquet is immediately inviting with a warm, soothing sweetness. Initial floral and mineral nuances unfold into opulent aromas of vineyard peach, citron, calisson and a hint of mocha. On the palate, the champagne unfolds with a controlled, gentle fullness. The lush texture develops further with salty, almost maritime accents, while the complexity reveals itself with increasing depth.
