The name "Bholsa" is derived from a nearby bay on the rugged coast of Islay - a place that, like this whisky, is rugged, full of character and deeply rooted in nature.<br><br>The single malt Scotch whisky matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, giving it a striking balance of smoky Islay depth, fruity elegance and spicy complexity. The whisky was bottled at a strong 50% vol. without chill filtration and without colorants, which underlines the clear, unadulterated style of the distillery.
