After a few years there, he developed his own production process, which ensures the consistent quality of the rums. This process is still a well-kept secret that is now passed down from generation to generation.<br><br>Brugal Triple Reserva is a masterfully matured premium rum from the Dominican Republic, whose name refers to its exceptional triple maturation process. First, the rum matures in American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. This is followed by a second maturation in Spanish oak barrels, which add subtle nuances of red fruits and honey to the rum. The final touch is added in French oak barrels, which introduce spicy notes and harmoniously combine all the aromas.<br><br>The result is a perfectly balanced rum with a velvety texture and complex aromas.</p>
