<p>Christian Drouin 19 Ans Calvados Pays D'Auge Springbank Angels is an exceptional bottling from the Experimental series by renowned Calvados producer Christian Drouin.&nbsp;</p><p>This limited edition celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Experimental series and was created in collaboration with the Scottish distillery Springbank. Twenty years ago, Springbank used Drouin Calvados casks to mature some of its whiskies, which formed the basis for this renewed collaboration.<br><br>For this special edition, a 19-year-old Calvados from the Pays d'Auge region was selected. This Calvados matured for an additional five months in eight former Springbank whisky casks with a peat content of 10-12 ppm. The result is a limited edition of 2,130 bottles that harmoniously combines the aromas of apple and peat.</p><p><strong>Taster note:</strong></p><p>Color: Amber.<br>Nose: Baked apples, plums, smoky notes, cherry pie.<br>Palate: Full-bodied, caramelized apples, dried fruit, peat.<br>Finish: Long-lasting.</p>
