<p>Kimerud Distillery, a family-run distillery from Norway, is known for its high-quality spirits that combine tradition and innovation. Master distiller and founder Ståle Håvaldsen Johnsen discovered his passion for distillation in 2006 during a hike, when a bottle of his father-in-law's homemade herbal liqueur made the rounds around a campfire. Intrigued by the complex aromas of the herbs and the fascinating distillation process, Ståle decided to learn more about the art and one day create his own signature spirit.<br><br>Through the guidance of his father-in-law and his own experimentation, Ståle eventually developed a wide range of award-winning gins and a traditional aquavit. All products are distilled, stored and bottled at the picturesque Kimerud farm in Lier, west of Oslo.
