<p>The Black Tot Historic Solera is an artful blend of exquisite rums from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica, conceived according to the traditional practice of the British Royal Navy. This blend is characterized by a particularly careful maturation process, which brings out its complex character and depth.<br><br>At the beginning of the maturation process, the rum is stored in oak barrels previously filled with Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry, which gives it rich aromas and a pleasant sweetness. It is then refined using the traditional solera process, which ensures consistently high quality and allows the various components to blend together perfectly.<br><br>Another remarkable feature of this bottling is that the entire ageing process takes place in a tropical climate.
