Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips was granted the first license to produce whiskey in the region. For over 400 years, the art of whiskey production has been cultivated here at Bushmills Distillery and passed down from generation to generation.<br><br>Bushmills 21 Year Old is an exceptional creation made by blending single malts, which are initially matured for 19 years in carefully selected Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon casks. The whiskey is then refined for a further two years in Madeira casks.
