<p>Togouchi is produced by Chugoku Jozo, a distillery in the city of Togouchi in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The distillery is located in a natural cave system that was originally built as a railroad tunnel, but was later converted into an ideal environment for maturing whisky. The cool, damp conditions in the tunnels provide an optimal climate for maturing whisky, resulting in a product that is rich in flavor and character.<br><br>Togouchi Beer Cask Finish is a carefully created blended whisky, blended from just 36 casks. For this edition, the Sakurao distillery's Chief Blender selected oak casks that were previously used to mature Martinique rum in the French Caribbean and then IPA beer in France. This special combination gives the whisky a unique flavor profile and a fascinating depth that delights whisky lovers.<br>&nbsp;</p>
