<p>The Kanosuke distillery, located on one of the most extensive sandy beaches in Japan, is launching its first regular bottling with the Kanosuke Single Malt. Since its foundation in 2017 and the commissioning of three differently shaped stills, the distillery has mainly used American oak barrels, which were previously used to store shochu, a traditional Japanese high-proof spirit.<br><br>The Shizuoka United S is the result of combining selected malt whisky from the legendary Karuizawa pot still and a wood-fired pot still, which makes it a particularly fascinating product.
