<p>The Hennessy distillery, based in Cognac, France, was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy and is now in its eighth generation of family ownership. The Irish officer emigrated to Cognac and founded the company "Jas Hennessy &amp; Co," whose cognac quickly gained international renown. Only grapes from the Cognac region are used in its production, which, after double distillation in copper pot stills, are transformed into pure eaux-de-vie – the basis of all Hennessy cognacs.<br><br>In a special collaboration, the artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, known for his colorful and unique sculptures, has given Hennessy XO a new, artistic design for a limited edition. The bottle is encased in a reflective metal shell, whose soft curves and sparkling light reflections create a striking visual effect. Othoniel's design pays tribute to the bottle's timeless beauty and symbolizes the fusion of tradition and modernity, as well as the close connection between art and cognac culture.</p>
