<p>Edradour, located in the picturesque town of Pitlochry in the southern Highlands, was purchased in 2002 by Andrew Symington of Signatory Vintage Ltd., who had a grand vision for the distillery. Under his leadership, characterized by innovative ideas, Edradour has built a passionate and loyal following.<br><br>Since Symington took over, the brand has developed so successfully that in 2018, the construction of a new, second distillery with two stills was announced to meet increasing demand. As production increased, new warehouses were also built to accommodate the additional quantity of whisky.<br><br>This 20-year-old bottling from Ballechin is a rare and heavily peated version of Edradour, available in limited quantities. The whisky was matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. This small-batch whisky is non-chill filtered, has a natural color, and is limited to 2016 bottles.</p>
