<p>The Loch Lomond Distillery in the Scottish Highlands is continuing its Cooper's Collection, which was launched in 2022. The recently launched 2024 release is the Loch Lomond Single Grain Spanish Oak Cask Finish.&nbsp;</p><p>Master Blender Michael Henry matured a single grain Scotch whisky made from malted barley on a Coffey Still first in first-fill American oak casks and then in Spanish oak casks. It is unclear whether this refers to first-fill bourbon casks or ex-sherry casks.&nbsp;</p><p>There is no age indication.&nbsp;</p><p>The distillery bottled the whisky with an alcohol volume of 50 percent, without cold filtration and without coloring.&nbsp;</p><p>The limited edition is <strong>9,000 bottles</strong> of 0.7 liters each.<br><br>Quelle: Cooper's Collection: Loch Lomond launcht Single Grain Spanish Oak Cask Finish</p><p>The Loch Lomond Distillery says the aroma has floral notes as well as notes of ripe berries and toasted oak.&nbsp;</p><p>On the palate, a sweet spicy character with creamy vanilla, honey and clove spice.&nbsp;</p><p>A medium-strong finish with warming oak and clove.&nbsp;</p>
