<p>Originating from Portugal’s celebrated Douro Valley region, Ruby Port is typically more youthful than other Port styles with a vibrant and fruit-forward profile.</p><p>Ageing in hogsheads that previously held this full-bodied fortified wine has resulted in pronounced forest fruit qualities alongside The GlenAllachie’s heather honey DNA.</p><p>Specially selected for Europe, this Wood Collection bottling is presented at 48% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique character to shine through.</p><p>Without the addition of colour and without chill filtering, the Single Malt Whisky is then bottled at 48%.</p><p><strong>Taste Profile</strong></p><p><strong>Aroma&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Intense aromas of mocha, rosehip and syrupy sweetness, followed by butterscotch, almonds and cooked pear.</p><p><strong>Nose</strong></p><p>Orange zest, apricots and crystalised red berries, with notes of ginger, heather honey and rich dark chocolate.</p><p><strong>Taste</strong></p><p>Raspberry coulis, crystalised honeycomb and red berry ice cream, followed by cinnamon, candied cherries and mocha.</p><p><strong>Maturation</strong></p><p>American Oak Bourbon Barrels, Ruby Port Hogsheads</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
