<p>This Yamazaki Mizunara Single Malt consists of carefully selected malt whiskeys, all of which have been aged exclusively in Mizunara casks for a minimum of 18 years.&nbsp;</p><p>It was created to honor the centenary of the House of Suntory. At the first tasting, it was noted that the young liquid in the Mizunara cask had a dominant flavor and aroma. While aging through the four distinctive seasons of Japan and the land of Yamazaki, the determined blenders of the past found a balance between aging and harmonious blending that tempered the force of the Mizunara character.&nbsp;</p><p>The whiskeys are now matured until they can acquire the characteristic Japanese spiciness and the incense-like aroma of sandalwood and agarwood.<br><br><strong>Tasting Notes:</strong><br><br><strong>Colour</strong>: Reddish amber<br><br><strong>Nose</strong>: Rich and elegant top notes of dark cherry and ripe peach, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Palate</strong>: Subtle spiciness with undertones of Japanese incense&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Finish</strong>: Long and lingering, accented with clove, sandalwood and hints of dried coconut<br><br><strong>Limited edition</strong></p>
