<p>Launched in 1997, Herencia de Plata Añejo is a 100% agave tequila aged 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels. Incidentally, ‘Herencia de Plata’ literally translates from Spanish as ‘heritage of silver’.</p><p><strong>Appearance:</strong></p><p>Clear, golden amber.</p><p><strong>Aroma:</strong></p><p>Buttery butterscotch, crème caramel and cedarwood with cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper spice. Faint almond and overripe banana.</p><p><strong>Taste:</strong></p><p>Sweet vanilla, caramel, marshmallow and butter balance dry oak, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper spice.</p><p><strong>Aftertaste:</strong></p><p>Leathery balsawood with cracked black pepper spice.</p><p><strong>Overall:</strong></p><p>Buttery butterscotch, sweet vanilla, caramel and marshmallow set against dry oak, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper spice.</p>
