The brand was founded in 1930 in the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, and after only a few weeks was already one of the most successful rum distilleries in the entire Caribbean.<br>Barceló is made from 100% sugar cane juice.<br><br>The basis for this exquisite Barceló Imperial Rare Blend Porto Cask is the finest Dominican sugar cane. This edition is part of the Rare Blends Collection, where the rums were aged in oak barrels and heavily roasted. After blending, this blend received its finish in Tawny Port wine casks.</p>
