<p>Via Monsignor is based in Veneto, Italy with your brand V8+. "V8+" means that the world of Prosecco is opened to humanity, energy has been released and from this moment the pure beauty begins. The story of Via Monsignor began with leftover sugar: Sugar is added in a pressure tank to reactivate fermentation and allow the production of sparkling wines.<br><br>This Prosecco from the Veneto region uses only the best Glera grapes, which give it its exceptional freshness and drinkability. The climate in Veneto is generally somewhat humid due to its proximity to the sea, and sharp temperature differences are nothing unusual for this region. After harvesting the fully ripe grapes, they are pressed and subjected to a rapid separation of the must from the skins. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures between 15 and 16 °C. The wine is stored in steel autoclaves, after which foaming is carried out according to the Martinotti method.<br>The bottle, with its detailed lines, reflects a marked elegance. The carvings recall the long rows of vines on the hill of Valdobbiadene.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Pale straw yellow with a fine perlage in the glass. In the nose floral notes, fruity of ripe apples and pears. The palate is fresh, aromatic and well structured. Delicate fruity notes enliven the taste. Long lasting on the finish.<br><br>Grape variety: Glera.<br><br>Soil: clay.<br>Acidity: 5.6 g/l.<br>Residual sugar: 14 g/l.<br>Closure: Natural cork.<br>Drinking temperature: 4-6 °C.<br><br>Excellent with fish and sushi.
