<p>Master Distiller Robert Fleming shows with these Cask Finishes the influence a finish in different casks has on the whisky's aroma and taste.&nbsp;</p><p>Robert has been in the whisky industry since 1974 and has worked at Tomintoul for more than 20 years.&nbsp;</p><p>Today he is responsible for all production processes at the distillery.</p><p><strong>Tasting Notes:</strong><br><strong>Nose:</strong> Spicy stone fruits and lychees mixed with lemon tart, vanilla pod and ginger cookies.<br><strong>Flavor:</strong> Layers of apricot-filled buns, poached pears and Tarte Tatin bound with black coffee, buttery malt and spice.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Sweet and warming with notes of cake filled with cream and strawberry trifle that transition into mocha and toasted nuts.</p>
