<h3>Tomintoul Cognac Cask</h3><p>A small batch NAS whisky from the Speyside distillery.&nbsp;</p><p>This is aged in American oak casks before finishing in European oak barrels that previously held Cognac which add a layer of fruitiness and spice.</p><p><strong>TASTING NOTES</strong></p><p>NOSE: Light and lifted with aromas of chestnut, lemon rind, blossom honey and amaretto biscuits with hints of chamomile and fennel.</p><p>PALATE: Sweet choux pastry and Chantilly cream mingled with sugared almonds, butterscotch, golden raisins and rolling tobacco.</p><p>FINISH: Layers of white chocolate, panettone and nutmeg fading into warming ginger spices.</p>
