Thus, the careful selection of casks to create a complex yet perfectly balanced single malt took place.<br>This whisky is part of the Anecdotes of Ages Collection and is The Macallan's third masterpiece produced in collaboration with the iconic artist.<br>"An Estate, A Community and A Distillery" - a memento, of Sir Peter Blake's visit to the estate on the legendary River Spey, tells a story of The Macallan's past and present.<br><br>A label digitally designed by Sir Peter Blake adorns the bottling and is accompanied by a certificate describing the history as well as the heritage on which the art is based.<br>The scroll, another work of art in the style of Sir Peter Blake, includes anecdotes from the entire collection of all bottles produced in collaboration with him.</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><p>Color: Cinnamon.<br>Nose: Fruity, rich, notes of dried fruit, spices, orange, cloves.<br>Taste: Rich, aromatic, dried fruit, black pepper, syrup, vanilla, orange oil.<br>Finish: Long lasting, oak, cinnamon, cocoa.</p>
