<h4><strong>St. Kilian PEATED - RICH &amp; SMOKY Single Malt Whisky&nbsp;</strong></h4><p>For the smoky version "St. Kilian Peated - rich &amp; smoky" heavily peated barley malt from the Scottish Highlands with a phenol content of 54 ppm was used.</p><p>The single malt whisky is composed of 70% from various ex-bourbon casks and 30% from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.</p><p>The result is a single malt that has a rich intensity of grilled apricots, creamy toffee and subtle oak spice, wrapped in warming peat smoke.</p><p><strong>Single malt whisky:</strong></p><ul><li>Bottled at 46% vol</li><li>Double distilled in our genuine Scottish pot stills &amp; made from 100% pure barley malt.</li><li>Iconic 0.7l pot still bottle</li></ul><h4><strong>TASTING NOTES</strong></h4><p><strong>COLOR</strong><br>Gold.</p><p><strong>NOSE</strong><br>The beguiling fruit bouquet of grilled apricots, juicy pears and ripe bananas is refined with sweet vanilla as well as a squeeze of lime, perfectly surrounded by mild peat smoke and complemented by dry ash tones with cooling mint.</p><p><strong>TASTE</strong><br>Full-bodied sweet and fruity with vanilla, apricots and pears, in harmony with creamy toffee and delicate peat smoke, which elegantly underlines the warming oak spice with a pinch of white pepper and fresh mint.</p><p><strong>FINISH</strong><br>Soothingly warming with creamy fruit compote as well as dark toffee, which are long-lasting, underpinned by ashy smoke and a subtle dry oak spiciness.</p>
