In 1915, he acquired an old distillery in Sicily and initially specialized in the production of grape brandies.<br><br>To produce the Vecchio Amaro del Capo Red Hot Edition, the distillers use a unique process in which selected herbs and spices are macerated in pure alcohol for several weeks. After this extended maceration period, the mixture is distilled in copper stills.
