It runs from Argyll to Glasgow over a mountain pass. It rises to a height of 331 metres in the heart of Jamaica. The Scottish pass and the Caribbean mountain could hardly be more different. Nevertheless, they share a name: Rest And Be Thankful. With their Rest & Be Thankful Rum range, they are now conquering the hearts of discerning sugar cane fans.
A new creation is the Rest & Be Thankful Assemblage #01. The blend marries pot and column still rum from Jamaica that has been matured in Scotland: New Yarmouth and Long Pond distilled pot still rum in 2005, column and pot still rum from Clarendon Estate in 2007 and pot still rum distilled in the Lluidas Vale settlement in 2008.
